Maintain Simplicity! (By Debbie Anderes)

Dear PTH Friends,

I’ve heard it said that one of the quickest ways to spot a man-made religious systems is:  They are always active, extremely busy & working hard; making what God has made simple, complicated and complex.

2015’s Word is: Raise the War Cry ! Redemptive Rest!

All the commercial celebration and Christmas fuss sure makes me ready to welcome 2015 and the word the Lord gave Nancy regarding this year.  I love how Nancy shares the way God talks to her with numbers so I thought it worthy of taking another look at the number “2015”. …

2015:   The 2 and the 5 are like a hedge:  2+5=7.  7 represents God’s Rest.

Genesis 2: 2 – On the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested from all His work.  And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Now what number is left?  ONE, as if to say, to find Rest get back to number ONE.   When you do, you are hemmed in on every side with God’s Redemptive Rest.  It’s your protection.   It’s getting back to the basics!  That maintaining simplicity! Yes, there’s a war cry to enter into His rest, being willing to be trained and equipped by His Spirit AND not forsaking our FIRST LOVE … the ONE!  It is yielding from our work, taking our focus off our labors that draws us into His presence; a place of freedom.  It is a willingness, a choice to engage in His rest.  It’s our path to wellness, wholeness, peace and the enjoyment of God, His Spirit and His Son, Jesus Christ.

2014 was all about the Sound of the Lord and it brought a hearing to us that caused us to listen in a new way.  2015 is calling the elect, the elite … the SEALs –  to hear the War Cry of His heart as if to say:
“You’ve heard but now listen closer.  Pay MORE CAREFUL attention to what I’m saying.”
1 Cor 2:1-5  Paul states he did not attempt to reach the people with human wisdom and eloquent words but rather he chose to present the person and passion of Christ Jesus.

Lift up Christ.  That’s what this hurting world will see and desire. For the fruit of right-ness is Peace.  The effect is quietness and confidence.  In quietness and trust is Strength!

May God be your Strength as you allow Him to hedge you in with His Redemptive Rest in this New Year.   I pray you find inward strength that outlasts and outwits the enemy, to have a determining factor to know how persecution and tough times are handled;  To endure to the end and never give up!  And to know you are His elite set apart warrior being called forward!   Raise the War cry!

Not by might nor by power but by His Spirit says the Lord Almighty.  Zech 4:6b

We are an elite warrior – lead by His Spirit … that is maintaining simplicity in any war!

Thank you for your prayer as together we raise the War Cry for His Glory!  Thank you for you continued prayer coverage for Point To Hope Ministries.  I know Nancy is very excited about this next year and the message God has giving her for this upcoming year.  Thank you for your targeted prayer coverage!

Blessings & Happy New Year,  2015

Breath of God: Inflate Your World!

                          world

Dear PTH Friends,

Does it seem like our world is spiritually deflated?  Like the wind has been knocked out of it in some fashion?  Truth is, a slow leak eventually reaps the same result as a gaping breach.

What answer do we have to “inflate” the world? … Puff it up, so to speak?  What solution is there to establish a spiritual form for a deflating world?  The world’s view would be to “work up” a solution – to fix it with knowledge, etc.  However, God has a divine plan!  It doesn’t require our knowledge, but it does require a yielded heart.  Otherwise, we are just inflating / puffing up in our own understanding.  “We know that ‘We all possess knowledge.’ But knowledge puffs up while love builds up”  (1 Cor. 8:1b).

Love and the very breath of our Living God!  That’s what will bring spiritual order to our world… to our everyday lives!  It is His world and we ought to be excited to be established according to His plan!  He already tells us in His word:  “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord Almighty” (Zech. 4:6b).  The greek word for breath refers to spirit or wind.  Yes, the very wind of God, the breath of His Spirit!  That is what is needed for our … His world.

So what does this entail for Point To Hope?  This next year of 2015, the word the Lord gave Nancy was:  “Raise the War Cry!  God’s Redemptive Rest.”    It seems like a bit of a spiritual conflict to talk about Love, War, & Rest in the same concept.   Yet, a deeper application of “War Cry” means:  wailing, shouting, shouting with joy, clanging, lamenting, etc.  This is what soldiers do when entering battle!  We are in His army!  He will defeat the enemy; We have to show up and yield to the wind of His Spirit.

Yes, War and Love do go together because the Lord is not willing that any perish! (Matt. 18:14).  Below you will find a few updates and prayer requests for Point To Hope Ministries!

On December 26, 2014, Nancy and I (Sarah) will be heading to Washington DC.  We will be going to the gates of some embassies because the Lord is beckoning a call to those countries.  At this point, the Lord has not confirmed the specific embassies, but we will be listening to His Spirit and following His leading.  More to come later …. we are just as excited to hear what He has to say and what countries He is calling PTH to.

In January and February, Nancy and various PTH team members will begin the 2015 year in Georgia and South Carolina.   There are numerous meetings, gatherings, and churches on the schedule, so please see the website for details:  www.pointtohope.org

Point To Hope will also be hosting a PTH Holy Spirit Encounter Conference; Jan. 22-24, 2015, in Grovetown, GA.  Theme:  “Raise the War Cry! God’s Redemptive Rest.”  There will be 12 workshop speakers, and Nancy Haney will be the keynote speaker each evening session.  It will be powerful and you won’t want to miss it!  Again, check the website for details.

Lastly,  I want to thank you for your faithfulness to pray for this ministry!  God has been faithful in every circumstance and He has proved Himself again and again … All glory and honor is due to Jesus!  Thank God for His grace and mercy.  As the Lord continues to reveal His plans for this ministry, please be lifting up Nancy Haney.  She has shared testimonies about her health issues these last few years and how the Lord continues to sustain and strengthen her.  Still, this last year has held more challenges for her physically.   Please continue to uphold her with your prayers.

I want to leave you with this prayer strategy the Lord gave Nancy:
–  Place a Hedge of Protection: start praying a hedge of protection (Job 1:9)
-Declare A Bulwark:  bulwark is a wall of protection – pray it around yourself and others.  (Ps. 91:4)
Set A Wall of Fire; protection (Zech 2:5)
ASK God: ask for angels to attend to you; ministering angels
(Matt. 4:11)
-Communion:  do this in remembrance of ME:  take communion daily and leave nothing to chance (Mk 14:22, 23)

Raise the War Cry!  (Isaiah 8:9a)

Blessings to all,

Sincerely,
Sarah Tarter,
PTH Prayer Facilitator

Word from Nancy: 2015 Word

Dear Faithful Friends and Partners in the Ministry of the Gospel!

As you know, the word the Lord gave me for the year 2014 was:  Listen … The Sound of the Lord.  Just to recap a little, the Lord is making a sound.  If He is making a sound, we, His people, need to have ears to hear.   Some key concepts / words about His Sound for 2014 and what we need to be listening for:
– Alliance:  pay attention; listen because 2014 was a year of forming alliances; some might seem very unusual.
– Prayer, Praise, & Prophesy:  Are we declaring His Word when we pray?  Do we praise Him for who He is?  Are we speaking life?
– Inheritance:   Do you know your inheritance?  The Holy Spirit? Eternal life!  It is for now!

If you have attended any of the Point To Hope Conferences this year, you will know there is so much more that can be written.  The PTH Conferences are still available via audio online.  www.pointtohope.org

I was excited about 2014, but I must confess, I am ecstatic about the word for 2015.  It is about “Raise the War Cry:  His Redemptive Rest” (Is 8:9).  His seal is upon us with new beginnings, compassion, covenant, our first love, communion, and priesthood.

Several months ago, the Lord started speaking to me about the Navy SEALs.  He is continuing to reveal His mysteries, but I wanted to share a few key characteristic & phrases with you about the spiritual type and shadow of what the Lord is saying for this next year.

The Navy SEALs:
Navy – complete body of warships, vessels, equipment, & personnel.  Spiritually speaking, ships pass through seas and rivers and provide essential things for life.  Ships are carriers.  Did Paul, Jonah, & yes Jesus, not travel by means of vessels upon the waters to carry the truth?   The Word?  Are we not ships? … Carriers of the gospel?  Carriers of the Spirit of the Living God?  Romans 8:15b “…the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. The Hebraic view is more than an orphan being adopted; Rather, it about coming into maturity whereby the Father’s inheritance is bestowed upon him / her – including authority.  Navy SEALs are elite and mature warriors and they know the authority they walk in.  They believe who they are … and they serve according to their creed – their “Bible”

SEAL – “Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm…” (Song of Songs 8:6a)
“He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”  (2 Cor. 1:21b)
“When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit” (Eph. 1:13b)
“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” (Eph. 4:20).
We are His elite troops!  “With Your help I can advance against a troop (a barricade); with my God I can scale a wall.  As for God, His way is perfect: The Lord’s Word is flawless; He shields all who take refuge in Him.  It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.” (Ps. 18:29-32).

The Navy SEALs’ maturity is forged by adversity.  Our first inclination would be to shy away from adversity.  Yet, the Lord is saying, it is MY adversity and when My warriors battle according to My Spirit, it will be by entering My rest, an active rest.  “Rest” as in action!  “‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” (Zech. 4:6b).

I also hear the Lord saying that 2015 will be a year of “going back to school – school of the Spirit.”  He is saying, if we want to enter this active rest, He has some new in-depth trainings and requirements for His saints.  If we are entering into rest during a war cry season, it is not surprising to consider that He will fully equipping those who enlist in His armed forces; His school of the spirit.

“Therefore, since the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.”  (Heb. 4:1).  “For anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from His.  Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.”  (Heb. 4:10 & 11)  The key word in that verse is “their” … we will enter this active rest when we surrender from “our” work and enter His work BY HIS SPIRIT.  This yielding from our work takes our focus off our labors and draws us into His presence; a place of freedom.  It is a willingness, a choice to engage in His rest.  In Exodus 31:16-17, this rest is called “a perpetual covenant” between God and His people.  Perpetual is never ending, never changing, repeating so frequently that it is uninterrupted!  This is what work … rest …. work … rest should be like – they are one in the same when “work” is according to His work by His Spirit … that is our active rest!  Are you willing to enter His covenant rest for 2015.  It is a choice!

Back in 2013, the Lord showed me He was removing the “fence line.” This removal was a demarcation line; No more luke warm – make a choice.  As Joshua announced:  “Choose for yourself this day whom you will serve” (Josh. 15b).  It is not difficult but our fleshly feathers get ruffled.  Still, the War Cry is sounding.  A War Cry to rally the soldiers to battle.  A war cry to prepare soldiers to be Navy SEALs, an elite force by His Spirit.

There is a war cry to enter into His rest, being willing to be trained and equipped by His Spirit AND not forsaking our first love.  This is key for 2015 from Rev. 2:1-5.  God knows our works, labors, patience and perseverance.  He knows we have not embraced those who claim to be apostles but have been found to be liars.  He knows all this has been done for His name’s sake and we have not become weary.   Yet, in doing all these “deeds” we have left our First Love!  We have forgotten how far WE have fallen!  We can operate in spiritual gifts, faith, and knowledge, yet without love, we are a resounding gong (1 Cor. 13).   Grace and mercy have been given to us.  Not because we deserved it.  God is saying 2015 is abut compassion!  Freely giving what has been freely given to us (Matt. 10).  Loving the unlovely … loving our FIRST LOVE so much that we never forget where we have fallen from and we give up ourselves – completely yielded to our First Love.  Choosing to let our flesh die!  Knowing this, we will have sufficient courage so that Christ, our First Love, will be exalted in our body; dying to gain! (Phil. 1).  Yes, the onset of giving in to “self” is always a struggle because that ole’ flesh just wants to hold on!  However, once you give it up and let flesh die and live in that place of “rest” in the Spirit, looking back to yesterday is easy.  Like the motto of a Navy SEAL:  “The only easy day was yesterday.”

One of the ways the Lord speaks to me and reveals His mysteries to me personally, is through numbers.  So let me share with you what He told me by His Spirit about 2015:

2015:
20 = redemption
15 = rest
God’s Redemptive Rest

20 + 15 = 35 (Hope)

2+0+1+5 = 8 (New Beginnings)
New beginnings – Quit looking at yesterday; what ever you did yesterday, don’t worry about it; you can’t do it again.  New Beginnings today!

5775 Jewish Calendar year (for 2015)
5 = His Grace (or God’s goodness)
7= Completeness, Spiritual; Perfection
5+7+7+5 = 24 (The Priesthood); you are His royal Priesthood
5+5 = 10 (Testimony – Law of Responsibility)
7+7 = 14 Deliverance or Salvation

8 (2015/ 2+0+1+5) + 24 (5+7+7+5) = 32 (Covenant)
(New Beginnings)      (Priesthood)

Let me close with this simple yet profound truth as we move into this year of 2015, “Raise the War Cry! God’s Redemptive Rest.”  Believe and Obey!  We must believe with the evidence of obedience.  Trusting fully in Him!  “He is a shield to all who trust in Him,” (Ps. 18:30b).   We don’t have to strive or work in our own strength – it is by HIS Spirit!  The Spirit of our First Love!

Let us enlist ourselves in the school of His Spirit and yield to His elite training; Open up and compassionately give what has been freely given.  Activate our belief by faith!

Therefore, I close with these words with sincerity, “I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.”  I remember you in my prayers at all times and I pray now at last by God’s will, the way has been opened, for PTH will be coming to you Soon!  AND, I sincerely long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong…”

Blessings and Prayers,
Nancy

Note from Nancy: Who Is Calling?

Dear Friends,

I was reading the Word tonight and I believe the Lord led me to these specific scriptures as I was praying and considering His leading on this up and coming conference in Ketchikan, Ak. Sept. 24-27th.

It’s very fitting for the hour…
Who is that calling?  …Remember the story of the boy Samuel who heard a voice in the night call his name?   It awakened him and made him try to figure out who was calling him.  First, he went to Eli, the priest to whom he had been given by his mother, and said, “Here I am.  What do you want?”

“I didn’t call you,” Old Eli, answered.  Then the Lord called Samuel again and again,  “Samuel, Samuel.”  Eli told him to go back to bed and listen to the voice, for it was the Lord who was calling him.  So, Samuel went to bed and listened.  Then the Lord spoke to him of the future.  And, Samuel become know as a prophet. (1 Sam. 3:1-21) The Lord wants to pour out His Spirit on all of us to hear.

I remember being alone doing whatever was pleasing me at the time—-reading, writing, daydreaming, when I would heard a voice.  Often, I listened closely to figure out who it might be.  Of course when I was young, it was possibly the teacher, parents, etc…usually calling me out to come or go some place…that was when I was young.   But after I became a committed Christian and learn to pray, to be still and wait and listen, I often prayed, “speak to me Lord and tell me what I should do.”  We must learn to hear God’s voice and respond to His Spirit  (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:39).

After reading about Samuel and Eli, I saw a reference that lead me to another familiar story of Barnabas and Saul and I was amazed.  “They were worshiping and fasting.  It was then that the Holy Spirit called them to “go.”  While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,  “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them” (Acts 13:2).  Well isn’t our theme for 2014, “The Sound of the Lord, Listen!”  And, Listen is an Action Word!

Both these stories lead me to hear a Sound… Its call is to invite, to stir up,  all of you who want to join me in a fast and prayer…a call to join the other intercessors in Ketchikan who have been gathering and praying every week for several weeks for the PTH Team, the Workshop Speakers, Worship Team and Intercessors and all the Helpers and Hosts and Hostesses.   All the planning for the up and coming ministry and Conference in Ketchikan, Sept. 24 (prayer rally) 25-27 Conference.

If you hear this Sound, Call,  this Rallying the Troops, and choose to join us.  Please feel free to adjust times and dates of your prayer, fast, one or both as you are led by the call “this sound” to pray, lead by the Holy Spirit for South East Alaska and especially Ketchikan and the Conference.  We are all looking forward to our prayer time over the next two weeks, and beyond as lead by the Spirit.  We are expecting the Holy Spirit to show up like He always does.  We are expecting Revival, Redemption, Salvations, Healings, and Deliverances by the sustaining Hand of the Lord,  because we have been listening to the Sounds of the Lord and we are preparing.  And, when we shall leave that place it shall never be the same again, Amen!

We invite you all to come, if possible.  The meetings will be held at First Assembly of God in Ketchikan…

Please especially keep Debbie Andreas and Team in Ketchikan lifted before the Lord, as well.

If you have time drop us a line and let us know you are joining us in prayer and or attendance.  We certainly welcome you!

Thank you ,
Love and Blessings,
Nancy Haney

Grin & “Bear” It

bear

Bear:  This picture represents waiting, watching… Assemble the troops — rally the intercessors,  new battle plans for us are being written as I write!  These plans are for those that have ears to hear and obedient hearts for the advancement!  Facing the enemy straight on! The enemy will not see us because the shield of faith is upon us; And the full armor intact.  The victory is already written by the hand of The Lord!  The launching… Just watch and see with spiritual eyes, and you will Know what I mean!  DELIGHT IN MY PLANS… Delight in My will (Ps.40:8) …His plans will not be held back – it will always be done! (Dan 4:35).

Dear PTH Friends,

Last week Nancy sent the above picture including the word from the Lord of what the bear represents.  Furthermore, she said it was for ALL of us and will apply if we have ears to hear and obedient hearts.  Amen!

A few thoughts came to mind when I saw this picture.  The position of this photo depicts the fact that I (we) are proactive in our battle plan; Offensive! – His plans and purposes.  That should bring a grin to our faces.  If we are sensitive and alert we can be positioned by the leading of the Holy Spirit and He will give us a view to see the enemy; We see him first … or  receive warning of impeding danger.

Secondly, I couldn’t help but notice the bear is looking from a man-made structure; A guard rail designed to keep us on the straight and narrow through the curves and turns of our life’s travels.  Spiritually speaking, God has already established firm guard rails in His Word to help us every step of the way…. they are not of this world.  One being the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  “He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword.  Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.” (Deu. 29:b)  That is good news for sure … even though the enemy peers down from a high place God Word trumps him with ‘we will tread on the enemy’s heights’.  Yes, the victory is already written by the hand of the Lord.

Lastly, and quite simply, keep your focus on His road and don’t be distracted by what is along the wayside!

And about the bear …
Bear in mind:
“Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear.” (1 Sam. 17:36)
“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Saviour, who daily bears our burdens.” (Ps 68:19).
(speaking of those planted in the house of the Lord:  “They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green…” (Ps. 92:14).
“For I bear Your name, Lord God Almighty.” (Jer. 15:16b).
When the Lord does the planting on the mountain heights:  “It will produce branches and bear fruit…” (Ez. 17:23).
“Your people bear Your name” (Dan. 9:19b)
“Every good tree bears good fruit” (Matt. 7:17a).
“And so you will bear testimony to Me.  But make up your mind not to worry beforehand…” (Luke 21: 13 & 14b).
“If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit” (Jo 15:5b).

There are many more, but let me leave you with this last one from John 15:8a, “This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit.”

I pray you are blessed knowing that the Lord faces the enemy face on!  He bears the battle for us when we stay in His protective guard rails.  Amen.

Please continue to pray for the upcoming PTH conference in Ketchikan, Alaska.  (Sept. 25-27, 2014).  The theme of the conference is “The Sound of the Lord … Listen.”  God has something specific in store for Ketchikan!  The theme may be the same, but His Sound never returns void; It is alive and active.

Blessings to all,

Sincerely,
Sarah Tarter,
PTH Facilitator

Report from Debbie A.: Destiny Revealed

Dear Friends,

Receive your sight!

The desire is there, but how can if be?  It is like trying to look at the sun but it is too much to take in; trying to look with the physical eye is overwhelming!    Yet, I want to see through this door; the Son.

I wonder if that’s why we can’t look into the face of God, it’s just too bright, just like the sun.  But I hear myself asking, “Please give me those eyes like an eagle that have the ability to look directly into the sun to see you, Lord!”
Then I turn to Revelations 3:18b which says, “Anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. “
John 3:3 – Receive your sight.  Jesus declared,  “I tell you the truth, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

I believe many have received their sight to see the Kingdom of God with new eyes.

We were invited to The Rock Church last week for a Destiny Conference with Pastor Deane and Becky Wagner in Waterford, Ohio.  We (Nancy, Sarah, Liz & myself)  arrived to thunder and lightning as if God put on a  light show that led us to Ute’s home in Athens.  This is the TIME OF THE KING.  It is His year so we weren’t surprised to be greeted with a heavenly light show to welcome us in.

Colossians 3:1-4 –  Since, then you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.  For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

Now imagine with me a magnificent door.  It’s grand.  It’s big.  It’s the most amazing door you have ever set your eyes on. And you long to go through.

Revelations 4 :1 –The heavenly door is open …  It’s life to be enjoyed every day!  Come!  My presence is waiting –
Love, God.

Wait a minute.   You hear words coming from behind  this door;  and you begin to see “destiny” with new eyes and a heart to understand as you hear voices saying;

Holy,  Holy,  Holy Is
The Lord Almighty.
Who was, and is, and
Is to come…
Now unto him who is
Able to keep me from
stumbling.  And to
present me faultless
before the Presence of His
glory with exceeding
JOY –
To God my savior
Who Alone is wise,
Be glory and Majesty
Dominion and
Power – both
NOW
And forevermore –

This is the only way through this door, Jesus Christ: It’s basic.  It is simply all about Him.  That is the alignment.  The shift that has happened.

Hebrews 12:25 – 27 – See to it that you do not refuse Him who speaks.  If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven?  At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”  The words “ once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken – that is, created things – so that what cannot be shaken may remain.  Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fie.”

The door is open to step into the alliance with God and His kingdom.  Aligning to know strategy and hear what you are battling for, and that it should ONLY be the Kingdom of God.  To be willing to form alliances with people you never have considered before; And realize God is providing opportunities for the most unusual alliances.   The new sound is coming, even from the children.  Birthing a sound of the Kingdom of God and the sound of heaven coming to earth.
No more just looking like a Christian.

Time is running short and you have a  Destiny in God.   It’s a Heavenly view of the highest level of development, a state of the art or,  state of the heart, and  you are one choice away from your destiny.   There is a disciple in each of us and the fields are white for harvest – we are the workers!  He desires you to see His people – His servants, shine with His glory.  Ones who perhaps seem the least likely, according to the world, yet will walk in a place of authority that changes the atmosphere,  because of Jesus.

You are a citizen of Heaven and the Father desires you:

To Pray with a new in-sight from heaven.
To Praise Him for who He Is not just what He’s done.
To Prophesy what we hear behind this door – what you hear from His Word.

Ephesians 5;15 – ( NKJV) SEE then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
(NIV) – Be very careful then how you live not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

He desires you to come to receive what you didn’t even know was attainable.  To set your affections on the house of your God.  A unity that says, “let not your heart be troubled but instead “BE OVERCOME BY HIM.”  He desires to reveal mysteries and secrets for you to know He is the stability of today.  He is our solution in every circumstance.  That our covenant with Him is an alliance with the Father.

Yes, there has been a shift  – a place of decision for all of us.  It’s getting back to basics.  Your ancestry will reveal your  inheritance.  An ancestry that all leads back to who you are – the family tree,  The  Tree of Life – Jesus… your destiny.

May the God of hope lead you back to the garden where you will find your Destiny and the Tree of Life!

Report from Liz: Waterford, OH Conference

Waterford, OH;6/14;NancyPoint to Hope Ministry
Waterford, Ohio June 2014

On Tuesday June 23, 2014, I left my home in Alaska with great anticipation. I flew to Columbus, Ohio to rendezvous with my other team members. Nancy Haney and Sarah Tarter flew in and switched gears from book writing to answer God’s call. They had come to Ohio to minister in a Days of Destiny Conference at The Rock Church in Waterford, Ohio.  Debbie Anderes also flew in for the conference and was greeted with hugs. It was a wonderful reunion.
We then embarked on a final two hour drive to Ute Looney’s home in Athens (Ohio). Once there, Ute and Russ Looney welcomed us into their home.  We stayed with them Tuesday and Wednesday night. Their home is in the country and was very relaxing.  We had coffee and communion in the morning, watched deer in the evening, and our nights were filled with fireflies. Needless to say, we felt rejuvenated after our stay. The beauty of God’s creation was all around us.
On Thursday morning we left for the evening service at The Rock Church in nearby Waterford.  Upon arriving at the church we were graciously received by Pastor Deane and Becky Wagner.  It was wonderful to see old friends and greet new ones.  Nancy and Point to Hope have ministered in this church before, so it felt like coming home.
We had such a sense of the impossible being made possible. It was awe inspiring to realize we were a part of a great number of people called to intercede, pray, and minister God’s purpose for the body of believers in our gathering. In the first meeting we sang “Every stronghold will be broken!”  This was our heart’s prayer in anticipation of what God would do.  Several children were enthusiastically worshiping the Lord in song.  It was beautiful to see.
Nancy was well received and shared her personal testimony of how God carried her through many difficult challenges in the past two years. She spoke about a near death experience, her husband’s battle with cancer, and emphasized that we are all but one choice away from our destiny. She said we are to hang onto our faith and stand by God no matter the tribulation. It was a message about getting back to the basics of praying, reading God’s word, and loving others into the Kingdom. Essentially, it was about hearing the sound of the Lord and taking action.
Sarah sang and shared a beautiful testimony of how God brought her through a life and death struggle.
On Saturday morning we focused on the gift of prophecy. Each person had a word of prophecy given to them by the Point to Hope Team.  This was a confidence building exercise for our team and Nancy helped guide us. Many people were blessed, encouraged, and touched by this event. They began to see God as the solution to their troubles rather than the cause of their pain.
The conference ended on Saturday night with Nancy explaining how each of us has unique roles in God’s kingdom. Some of us plant, some water, and others sow. In working together, we advance the Kingdom of God.
I want to thank everyone for their faithful prayers. Your support helped make all of this possible. It feels wonderful to be part of something so transformational. The next PTH event will be the Ketchikan conference (9/25-27/2014). Please continue to pray for us. May you all be blessed!

Watch the Back Door!

wolf in sheep

June 20, 2014
Dear Intercessors,

Have you ever tried to stand up in a boat during a storm ?  Or better yet, have you ever tried to stand up in your storming circumstance?  Standing up on the inside with strength and faith is possible because God is still on the throne and everything is under control.

Do you wonder if this is what Nancy might have meant by Shift , sift or drift?  We have been in one place or another and now things are shifting.  In that shift we have to believe that God is still on the throne no matter how calm or severe the storm.

Isaiah 50:23b  Because those who hope in ME will not be disappointed.
John 14:1  & 29  So do not let your heart be troubled,
Trust in God.  Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.
Isaiah 55:12 . For you shall go out with joy, and be led out in peace.

I had a dream recently that warned me to “WATCH THE BACK DOOR!”
I pondered what that could indicate and two things came to mind:   It was the year of doors, and it was phrase, “Back door friends are best.”  I began asking God to show me what this could mean.  It was a warning to be very watchful and especially, those or those things coming through the back door of your life.  Those things,  or people that seem safe, familiar and comfortable.  Yield everything to God.  Everything!   Don’t be taken off guard!

There is a door opening for the Great Harvest.  You can hear it from the turbulence and friction in the earth today.   There is a Sound.  It is the Sound of the Lord.  We will begin seeing the evidence more and more.  It is a shift, the sifting, and subtly drifting away.

Isaiah  26:20  Go, My people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you.  Hide yourselves for a little while until His wrath has passed by.

Have you ever thought about God’s Glory burning?  I’m convinced that whenever we choose to do right in those hard situations, it seems painful at the time, and can often be lonely as if few, or less than are doing what is the right.

God’s Glory.  It burns!

It burns flesh off, destroys little foxes and truly tests attitudes and thoughts of the heart.  It causes a shift in our minds and hearts and opens our eyes to see how we are or are not aligning with God’s thoughts and heart.   It Burns!  Whatever is left?  That’s what is real.  It’s what is lasting; Eternal!  It’s what shines bright in the dark and it ends up changing everything in our path.   What are we left with? A pile of ash or a blinding brightness.  The brightness of His Glory begins to activate a drawing hunger that is contagious and reveals pure un-adulterated glory.

Yes, the Glory burns but suddenly it burns good and the price to be able to walk in it is worth everything.  It may seem like it takes too long at times, but it is worth the “wait” in gold!

The Lord gives us many warnings, but a couple I feel to mention are those who might be like those “friends” who come to the back door.  His Word is pretty clear about naming some things we need to watch for:  false prophets showing up in sheep’s clothing but they are really wolves … ferocious wolves!
Matthew 7:15  warns to Watch out for false prophets.  They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
However, by their fruit we will recognize them!

God tells us in Matthew 10:16  – I am sending you out like sheep among wolves.  Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.

We need to be watchful, Amen!

Something Dwight Moody once said,
“When I was a young Christian I thought that God kept His gifts on shelves and the best gifts were on the highest shelves and I would have to reach up.  I learned later the best gifts are on the lowest shelf and I had to stoop down.”

Let us never forget, we are really preparing for our heavenly home.   We don’t miss what He is doing in this hour.  Even the disciples, while walking with Jesus, had a few issues.  At times they thought it was all about them and this world; Concerned with who would be the greatest.

We are in the world but not of the world.  We live in  a Kingdom of eternal  excellence and Joy of many generations.  Our Lord is our  everlasting Light.  Yes, we rejoice in this Hope of the Glory of God!    God is our glory.

IT IS TIME FOR THE KING;  HE ALONE IS ON THE THRONE!  Amen!

Catching up with Nancy this week, I got a good report that she is stronger, healthier and excited with all the Lord is encouraging both Sarah and her.  The book is certainly a learning process and they so covet your prayers to put in written form what the Spirit is revealing.

Also, please keep in prayer the upcoming conference (June 26-29th) at The Rock Church, 19025 State Route 339 Waterford, OH 45786.  Nancy, Sarah, Liz, and myself (Debbie A.) will be flying out next Monday.  We will connect with Ute and others PTH friends in Ohio.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace
as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
